Searching That WorksPeggy’s tips and tricks help you find the home you are looking for.
Search online without filters and giving up your personal information (well, maybe just a little).
Chances are that you have begun your Austin area home search online – there are lots of choices – Redfin, Zillow, Realtor.com, Trulia, and more. If you are searching on a real estate agent’s web page you may only get search results that the agent wants you to see – and the main result of the search is that you are now in that agent’s database and you will be contacted. If you’re like me, you think twice before giving out your email address.
So here’s what I recommend and what I can promise. I recommend the only true home listing database in Austin, the Austin Multiple Listing Service. You can only access it through an Austin Board of Realtors agent. When you become serious about buying a home, contact me to set up that MLS portal for you. It’s the only way to get instant MLS notifications. My promise is to NOT sell your information or to contact you needlessly.
So yes, I would need your email address, but once I set that up you will get the MLS WITHOUT THE HASSLE! Why would I do this? Because when you’re ready and serious about buying or selling a home you might just contact the person who kept their promise!
Your home search will probably include details like location to schools, where you work, neighborhoods and lifestyle, traffic, shopping, entertainment, walkability, parks, local government and taxes. Often this data needs context. Let my experience as an agent and a longtime Austin resident help you with these important home search details.
Don’t Miss Out On Your Dream Home
because your home search is using old data.

I've been a television news anchor and reporter since 1979. Since returning to Austin in 1987, I've had only one Realtor - Peggy Little. Because of my job I can't do commercials. So please consider this a personal recommendation. Peggy has guided me through four separate real estate transactions. Because of her knowledge of the local market, negotiating skills and hard work all the deals went smoothly. I know buying and selling a home can be a stressful experience. But please be assured you are in good hands with Peggy Little.
